A step era with completely new standards has begun! A step that is unsurpassed in its application.

The unmistakable design and the innovative construction are convincing all along the line. The new technical development guarantees highest slip resistance (R13) and the duplex coating leaves rust no chance. Due to the closed construction, the mechanics are optimally protected and the door-combined function leaves no room for compromise by simply extending and retracting the step.

Based on our many years of experience in passenger and ambulance transport and with the help of valuable customer feedback, we have developed a step that meets customer wishes and expectations and offers an optimal problem solution.

This is how the fully automatic X3 series step was born - 100% developed, designed and manufactured in Germany.

Coating

• The KTL coating is characterized by very good corrosion resistance, even in cavities and sharp edges.
• Passivation in the pre-treatment increases the corrosion protection significantly again
• Tested stone chip resistance according to DIN 55996-1
• Resistant to aggressive acids and alkalis
• Hard surface
• Additional duplex coating of the cassette (powder coating in RAL colors)
• Resistant to stone chipping and salt water
• Salt spray test according to DIN ISO 9227 up to 1000 hours
• Coating according to automotive standard

Slip resistance

• Slip resistance R13 according to DIN 51130
• Displacement space V04 according to DIN 51130
• High abrasion resistance (aluminum oxide grain)
• UV-resistant and temperature-stable
• Resistant to chemicals (oil, brake fluid,...)
• Classification C according to DIN 51097
• Tested for 1 million footfalls

Mechanics

• 100% developed, designed and manufactured in Germany
• Maintenance-free tribopolymer bearings
• Closed cassette protects the mechanics from external influences
• Lubricant-free
• Highly insensitive to dirt
• Corrosion-free plain bearings
• Very good media resistance
• Bearings can be replaced easily if required (clip bearings)
